Scott Brooks after game: I just told the guys we didn’t win a championship this year, but they gave me championship effort all season long. i love our guys. They are winners.
Kevin Durant after game: It hurts. We are all brothers on this team. It hurts to go out like this. We made it to the Finals, which is cool for us, but it’s tough. That’s the only way I can explain it. I am proud of the guys and how we fought hard all season. i wouldn’t want to play with anybody else or for any other city. I am blessed to be a part of this organization. We hold our heads high.
Russell Westbrook after game: I am very proud of my teammates. I want to thank them and the organization and fans for sticking with me. We always stick together, regardless of what happens. Now we have to work hard and get better.
