Steve Nash Bruised Left Shin Injury note on Thursday November 1, 2012
3 November 2012 update: Steve Nash has a small fracture in his left leg and will be out of the Los Angeles Lakers’ lineup for at least another week. The Lakers announced the results of the point guard’s MRI exam Saturday.
Results of the MRI showed a small non-displaced fracture in the head of his fibula (left leg).
5 November 2012 update: Steve Nash left leg injury is now expected to miss about seven-to-ten days, CBS Sports reports.
The update comes from LA Lakers’ medical staff, who initially feared Steve Nash could miss up to four weeks. It looks like further evaluation revealed a less damaging injury, which could keep Nash out as little as four games.
